John W. Morris is a 1988 graduate of Montclair State University and received his Juris Doctorate from The University of Dayton School of Law in 1991. He is admitted to the bars of New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey, and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He practices in the areas of construction, contract/surety, professional-liability defense and commercial litigation. Mr. Morris is a member of the American Bar Association's Tort & Insurance Practice Section, its Surety & Fidelity Committee, and its Environmental Subcommittee. He co-authored The Surety's Environmental Risk, a Monograph published by the American Bar Association in 1996, which analyzes the risks associated with underwriting contract surety bonds for response-action contractors performing environmental remedial work at projects listed on the National Priorities List. |
