Dr. Amedio is VP, Manufacturing & Process Development, serving in this capacity since 2006. Dr. Amedio has seventeen years of experience in major and start-up pharmaceutical companies. He has extensive experience in all aspects of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC), including regulatory agency document preparation, active pharmaceutical ingredient synthesis, drug product pre-formulation and formulation, analytical methods development and the preparation of clinical trial materials. Most recently Dr. Amedio was Executive Director, Analytical and Chemical R&D, EPIX Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge, MA. Before joining EPIX in 1995, Dr. Amedio was with Sandoz Research Institute (currently Novartis Pharmaceuticals), East Hanover, New Jersey, as a Unit Leader in the Chemical Research and Development department. |
