With more than 35 years in the industry, John is skilled in negotiating with lending institutions, investment bankers and legal firms. His areas of expertise include restructuring, bankruptcy, corporate finance, due diligence and interim management. One of John�s successes included the restructuring of a $200 million aluminum die casting company. John has been serving BBK clients since 1994. He analyzes the financial and operational conditions of distressed suppliers to protect supply chains for automotive OEMs. The strategies he develops and implements help supplier and OEM alike. Professional Experience John is a senior financial executive with extensive experience in turnaround, manufacturing, banking, and public accounting. His prior positions have included Vice President /Finance, Board Member, Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Auditor. He has served clients in North America and Europe. Prior to joining BBK, John served as CFO for Engineering Technology, Ltd., a $35 million engineering design firm serving the automotive industry. He was responsible for financial reporting and analysis, maintaining banking relationships, cash flow analysis and forecasting, tax administration, risk management and insurance analysis. In this position John also facilitated the acquisition of a related company in Pennsylvania. John served as VP, CFO and Board Member for Durakon Industries, Inc., a $100 million diversified manufacturer of accessories for the automotive aftermarket. His responsibilities included planning, staffing, managing personnel, mergers and acquisitions, banking relationships, financial reporting, annual reports, budget preparation, financial forecasts, tax administration and risk management/insurance administration. As Senior VP and CFO for Bank of the Commonwealth in Detroit, MI, John managed finance, information technology and purchasing for a $900 million retail bank. The Bank of the Commonwealth was acquired by Comerica in 1983. He functioned as a member of senior management in planning, staffing, managing personnel, financial reporting, budget preparation, strategic planning forecasting, tax administration and risk management/insurance administration.
