John Brodeur is chairman of Brodeur Worldwide, a global public relations and communications consultancy for companies in the IT, business-to-business, consumer, e-business, and health market sectors. John began his career as a journalist before becoming Public Affairs Director for the School of Medicine at the University of Nevada. In 1972, John moved to Washington, D.C. where he managed a congressional staff and served as press secretary to a United States Senator. John returned to Nevada in 1979 and founded the Brodeur/Martin Company, a public relations firm that soon became one of the leading agencies in the western US. John moved to Boston in 1985 and founded Brodeur & Partners, a public relations agency dedicated solely to technology clients. The agency was purchased by Omnicom Group Inc. in 1993, and in 1999 became known as Brodeur Worldwide. The agency was named Inside PR's "Agency of the Year". John earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. |
