Mr. John Burton joined the Xfone group when Xfone purchased Equitalk in June 2006. Mr. Burton founded Equitalk, the UK�s first fully automated e-telco, in 2000 and served as its Managing Director. Prior to this he founded Nexus Telecom Limited in 1995, which designed and manufactured soft switches, and served as its Managing Director. Before this he joined Griffin International in 1992 to serve as Business Development Manager and started 2 new businesses units focused on Computer Telephony Integration and Video Conferencing. Between 1985 and 1992 he served as R&D Manager at Nortel Networks, where he was responsible for 30 engineers based in the United States and United Kingdom and for manufacturing operations in the Far East. Mr. Burton has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Liverpool and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield School of Management. |
