John Cottle Professional Experience John Cottle has been practicing law since 1979. He has established an impressive record of involvement in complex business litigation and business and real estate transactions. He was a named partner in the law firm of Bowles & Cottle for over 23 years. His practice focuses on commercial and business disputes, real estate matters, and general civil litigation on behalf of financial institutions, local governments, small to medium sized businesses, and charitable organizations. Mr. Cottle serves as an Agent for Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company. He has over 40 reported cases including: Cannon v. Macon County (11th Circuit, 1993); Golden v. The Bank of Tallassee (Ala. 1994); In re Wynn (Bkrtcy. M.D. Ala. 2001) and Hale v. Tallapoosa County (11th Circuit 1995). His wide ranging experience includes cases ranging from insurance fraud to shareholder disputes to personal injury and products liability cases.
