John was appointed as RISI's Chief Executive Officer in January 2007. Prior to his appointment, Day was Chief Financial Officer of CMP Media, the foremost technology and healthcare business-to-business media company, based in Manhasset, NY. Before that, he was CFO of CMP Asia in Hong Kong. As CFO he played a leading role in strategy development and implementation and was responsible for substantial support departments, as well as the finances of those businesses. Additionally, he was integral in acquiring well over a dozen businesses in Asia and in the US. Day was also formerly on RISI's Board of Directors. He is a chartered accountant and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Birmingham, England |
