John Freeland joined salesforce.com in October 2005 as president of worldwide operations. Freeland brings over 25 years of enterprise experience to his role at salesforce.com, in which he oversees the company's Successforce portfolio of services and business alliances.
Prior to joining salesforce.com, Freeland was managing partner for CRM at Accenture, where he was a member of the executive committee and a partner since 1989. In his five-year tenure heading Accenture's CRM practice, Freeland built the business from $1.2 billion to $3.7 billion (32% annualized growth), representing the largest business consulting service line at Accenture. He also changed the practice focus from predominantly Siebel-based integration to a more broadly focused practice, including the development of key relationships with other CRM vendors, including salesforce.com and SAP.
Freeland's career at Accenture spanned a quarter century. Prior to his work in CRM, Freeland was managing partner for the global insurance practice.
Freeland holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. |
