Dr. Gevargiz has been in the telecommunication industry for over 19 years, involved in research, development, and management of commercial and government systems and technologies. Prior to MOJIX, he held management and technical leadership positions at Boeing Satellite Systems, Ikanos communication, GTE Laboratories, and Jet Propulsion Laboratory. As department manager at Boeing he led communication system and networks engineering activities for space based systems. As a senior manager at Ikanos he led VDSL algorithm development for next generation DSL chip sets. He received his BS, MS and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a senior member of IEEE and has over 20 technical IEEE publications, number of NASA awards, and two patents. |
