John is responsible for the research and business development efforts within the Business Services market sector. He has over seven years of business advisory and private equity experience in a variety of business services segments including corporate benefits administration, human capital management, transaction processing, electronics manufacturing services, value-added distribution, third-party logistics and IT services. Prior to joining the firm, John worked at Castle Island Partners where he focused on evaluating and executing middle market private equity transactions in the connectivity and value-added distribution markets. Prior to Castle Island, John spent some time in the Nokia Ventures Organization, where he evaluated wireless technology and mobile applications investment opportunities. John also served in the Consulting and New Business Development group at Fidelity Investments where he worked with senior managers throughout the company to develop comprehensive growth strategies for existing financial services businesses. Prior to Fidelity Investments, he worked at Braun Consulting, advising senior executives in Fortune 100 companies on a broad range of strategic and operational issues. John holds a BA in Economics from Carleton College and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. |
