John Hartin is Chief Executive Officer at TeleworX. Over the past 15 years, John has served in several executive and entrepreneurial positions in the telecom industry. Prior to joining TeleworX in 2003, John was President and Chief Executive Officer of Wired Business, a venture-backed start-up offering broadband internet access and related services. While at Wired Business, he led the company's commercial launch in several major markets, raised equity financing and successfully directed the company's M&A efforts. John was also a senior executive at Omnipoint Communications, a wireless carrier acquired by VoiceStream (now T-Mobile). As General Manager, he was responsible for the build-out, launch and management of Omnipoint's Midwest markets. Before joining Omnipoint, John founded and served as President and CEO of Atlantic Wireless Group, a leading strategy and engineering services consultancy. Atlantic Wireless Group was sold in the mid-90s and continues to provide consulting services to the wireless industry. John began his telecommunications career with Bell Atlantic (now Verizon) where he served in various management positions. He was appointed Vice President in 1990. John holds a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. |
