John Hopkins joined HBE in August 2006. Mr. Hopkins has nearly 25 years of senior and executive-level experience in accounting and finance. Most recently, he has served as the Chief Financial Officer for Measurement Specialties, Inc. Prior to that Mr. Hopkins was Vice President, Finance with Cambrex Corporation and Senior Manager with ARCO Chemical Company. Before joining ARCO Chemical Company Mr. Hopkins was an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he became a CPA in 1984. Mr. Hopkins played key leadership roles in the areas of acquisition and divestiture, business turnaround, debt restructuring, and business process reengineering. In addition, Mr. Hopkins has extensive experience in the development of controls for internal and external financial reporting. Mr. Hopkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University and an MBA from Villanova University.
