John Hughes is president and founder of Rhythm & Hues Studios, a leading producer of computer generated character animation and visual effects for entertainment and advertising. Guiding a facility with hundreds of digital artists and staff, John is committed to providing a collaborative and supportive work environment in pursuit of the highest levels of artistic and technical excellence.
Following a stint at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, John ventured west to Los Angeles, joining the pioneering motion graphics firm Robert Abel and Associates, where he became instrumental in the design and development of motion control camera systems. This work paved the way for some of the first usage of computer generated imagery (CGI) in feature films and commercials. |
