John Krupar is Head of Re-Engineering for Citi and serves on Citi�s Management Committee. He leads our re-engineering efforts and is responsible for developing a structured approach to improving business processes that span the front, middle, and back offices to improve the client experience, increase our speed to market, reduce complexity, improve our efficiency and deliver cost benefits. He also works with each of Citi�s businesses to identify and prioritize opportunities and manage the cross-company portfolio of re-engineering projects.
John joined Citi from Oliver Wyman, one of the world�s leading management consultancies, where he served as a partner consulting to a variety of financial services companies. His experience includes successfully leading several parts of Citi�s structural expense review in early 2007. Since 1999, he had served as executive consultant for Six Sigma Academy, a premier process improvement consultancy, working with management teams of leading companies such as Merrill Lynch, Fannie Mae, Citizens Bank, Westinghouse Nuclear, Alliant Energy, Tyco, Textron, Conoco Phillips, DuPont, and Ford. Prior to that, John held a number of management positions at General Electric and Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation. Earlier, he served five years with the United States Army.
John received his Bachelor of Science from West Point and a Masters of Science in Management from Purdue University�s Krannert Executive Management Program.
