John brings more than 12 years of industry experience to the table. He is responsible for supporting our convention center clients throughout the country. John came to Ovations from Global-Spectrum, Ovations sister company, where he was responsible for implementing and monitoring quality customer services and contract compliance for all food and beverage caterers servicing the company�s more than 45 facilities throughout the United States and Canada. He was also responsible for the oversight of vendor operations, tracking and providing feedback on parking operations and merchandise sales. John also has extensive facility opening experience. John has been responsible for opening such notable venues as the Tampa Convention Center, the Lakeland Center, Harborview Convention Center, Pueblo Convention Center, Pinellas Expo Center, St. Charles Convention Center, Colisee Arena, Cinergy Convention Center, Clovis Civic Center and the Nueces County Fairgrounds. John manages all aspects of the opening of the food and beverage departments such as implementing themed concepts, helping to design the foodservice layout, hiring staff, orchestrating all small wares purchases, as well as day-to-day operations during the opening.
John is also an active member of the International Association of Assembly Managers (IAAM). |
