John Larsen, AIA, is Managing Principal, Retail & Mixed Use/Retail Practice Group Leader. Based in the Baltimore, Maryland office, he leads the firm�s Retail Practice Group across Cubellis� domestic offices and the Dubai, U.A.E. office of Cubellis Costa International. An award winning designer, John brings to his position 25 years of national and international experience in retail and mixed use planning and design. John has worked on projects around the world, and enjoys a well-earned reputation for design excellence and for shaping and setting trends in mixed-use and hospitality projects. Prior to Cubellis, John held the position of Principal, Mixed-use/Hospitality Market Sector Leader at Jacobs Carter Burgess. He was also formerly Senior Vice President for Development Design Group (formerly Design International). John holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Environmental Design degrees from the University of Minnesota. John sits on the Urban Land Institute�s Urban Mixed-use Council and is an active member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). |
