Mr. Lee is the Vice President of Engineering Development for PSI. The engineering development organization is responsible for the research and development for all of PSI's microcode for mainframe compatibility, systems management and reliability, and I/O connectivity. John has an extensive track record as a leader in the high-tech industry and brings more than two decades experience in engineering development and management.
Mr. Lee led his career developing one of the first commercial UNIX systems at Zilog and has remained at the center of the systems software industry. In the early 1990s he founded and was President of Surf Software, a systems software consulting firm where he worked with top companies such as MIPS, Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, and HAL. He went on to work for Sun Microsystems where he served as director of several worldwide engineering organizations responsible for key technologies in the areas of file systems, storage software, networking, and security. The open system background and experience that John brings to the management team represents the unique blend of both open systems and mainframe technologies knowledge found at Platform Solutions, Inc. Mr. Lee holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from UC Santa Cruz. |
