John Lisle is a principal based in the London office. He joined LECG in September 2003. Prior to this he was a director in the economic consulting division of Deloitte & Touche in London and previously worked in the economic and financial consulting group of Arthur Andersen.
Throughout his 17 year career in consultancy John has worked primarily on financial and economic consulting assignments for a range of clients, particularly in the energy, utility, telecommunications, and infrastructure industries. He specialises in the areas of regulation, industry restructuring, pricing, valuation, business and market analysis, and cost allocation. John also has extensive experience working on large claims and disputes assignments.
John's project experience has included the production of independent expert reports for submission to government departments, courts, tax authorities, competition, and regulatory bodies, and for inclusion in the documentation supporting major international corporate transactions.
From 1996 to 2003 John was extensively involved in the development of the regulatory, pricing and competition consulting services within the London office of Arthur Andersen and was frequently called on to assist with proposals and project delivery internationally. Prior to the transaction in the UK between Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche, John had responsibility for the development and delivery of training to strategy, valuation, financial, and economic analysis practitioners within Arthur Andersen in the UK and sat on a global training advisory panel.
For a period of eight months from September 1999 John was responsible for the development and management of Arthur Andersen's strategy, finance, and economic consulting practice in South Africa. In this role he was responsible for business planning, the sale and delivery of work, and staff recruitment, development, and evaluation. |
