John Lucena has over 16 years of experience combining strong operational management with deep technical skills and applying them to build and lead world-class software and services firms. At Double Fusion Lucena is responsible for integrating the company�s technology offering with its publishing partners as well as managing the overall product lifecycle and strategy. John Lucena was CEO and co-founder of Zendatta, a software professional services firm, which was acquired by USWeb (later marchFIRST) in 1997. Lucena went on to head their Technology Practice in San Francisco which he grew to a staff of over 55 full-time employees and a $10M a year run rate. John Lucena left to be COO and co-founder of Liquid Thinking, a full-service consultancy which he lead to a $15M a year run-rate with a staff of over 100 employees. Lucena later became VP of Engineering at Spark Networks where he led them through a complete re-architecture and deployment of their portfolio of high-traffic, social networking based web sites. John Lucena has also held hands-on, technical vice president roles at DreamFactory and Prosper. John Lucena holds a B.S. degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Industrial Management and Applied Mathematics (Computer Science). Lucena is fluent in Portuguese, French and Spanish. |
