John McLean serves as Executive Vice President in the firm�s Chicago office. His nationwide practice extends from Fortune 500 companies to emerging firms. Prior to joining DHR, Mr. McLean spent over nine years in consulting at Hewitt Associates and in his own practice in Chicago. His experience includes consulting in Executive Compensation, and Sales Management and Rewards for a broad range of industries, with a specialty in financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, consumer products, and telecommunications. Understanding company cultures has been an integral component in Mr. McLean�s success in identifying executives that align with the organizations� strategic goals. Keeping his clients informed of industry trends, best practices, implications for client compensation programs, and corporate governance are key factors in his search process. Mr. McLean also has over 14 years experience in Sales Management and Marketing with Johnson & Johnson, American Hospital Supply and OREC. Representative clients include: Abbott Laboratories, Cooper Automotive, Sky Financial Group, CFS North America, Interface, Inc., Harley Davidson, Shorr Packaging, Mitsubishi, Sony, IMC Global, and Paddock Publications. Mr. McLean has served as President of the school board and as AYSO soccer coach. He is a member of the University of Chicago Alumni Association and World at Work. Mr. McLean received his Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from St. Cloud University, and his MBA from the University of Chicago. He and his wife have one child and reside in Lake Forest, Illinois. |
