John McMahon is BMC Software's senior vice president for worldwide sales and services. In this role he oversees a large global sales and services organization that meets the needs of approximately 10 000 customers in more than 50 countries.
John joined BMC in April 2008 as part of the company's acqusition of BladeLogic where he served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. During his tenure at BladeLogic John was responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across BladeLogic's sales professional services product management development and support organizations. Prior to becoming COO John led BladeLogic's global sales and services organizations driving revenues from $18M to over $70M. Before joining BladeLogic he led highly successful worldwide sales organizations for three public software companies including Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC) GeoTel and Ariba. John also served as chief executive officer at IE-Engine (currently High Roads Technology.)
John received a BS in Electrical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. |
