John Mouton, Ph.D., co-founder of Object Reservoir, has a diverse background in physics, systems engineering, systems software, strategic planning, and marketing. Mouton was one of the founders of Landmark Graphics Corporation, which is now a business unit of Halliburton Company. His professional experience prior to Landmark includes research and development in seismic data processing and seismic data enhancement with EXXON Production Research Company, and analysis and design of microprocessor-based guidance systems with Hughes Aircraft Company.
Mouton also served as an assistant research geophysicist with the UCLA Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics. In addition, he has served on the boards of Directors of Landmark Graphics Corporation, HyperMedia Corporation, and Petrotechnical Open Software Corporation (POSC).
Mouton received a Doctoral degree in Mathematical Physics, a Master's degree in Physics, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Mathematics with highest honors from UCLA, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Howard Hughes Doctoral Fellow. |
