John Munsell brings to Bizzuka 16 years of experience in financial services, marketing and management. 10 of those years were spent in the commercial lending arena, helping banks increase market share, while at the same time coaching businesses in their financial activities. He has played key roles in the turn-around of troubled bank acquisitions and expansions.During his banking career, John also co-founded T.F. Banking Consultants, which developed and marketed software programs essential to commercial loan officers. These programs were marketed nationally via a direct mail campaign designed by John and his partner. The campaign was highly successful, and led him into the more challenging arena of marketing on the Internet. In 1992, John joined Northwestern Mutual Life. There he quickly gained a reputation for his ability to create powerful, motivating multimedia sales presentations. He eventually became the Joe P. Teague Agency's (Tampa Bay region) director of Technology and New Agent Development. In this capacity, John trained new agents, coached agents in the use of the Internet as a communications and prospecting tool, and was responsible for all regional and local multimedia presentations. After successfully creating and marketing Web sites for clients on a part-time basis, John left Northwestern to co-found Webtank, Inc. in 1998. He drove this startup from a part-time business to a profitable enterprise with sales of $1.5 million in less than 2 years. At Webtank, John was the principal designer behind a unique component based Web architecture that eventually spawned a new corporation, Bizzuka. |
