I received a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Lowell (currently UMASS Lowell) in 1980. I have been in the Laser business for over 25 years; beginning at Spectra-Physics in 1981. Prior to my career in lasers, I worked as a process chemist at a printed circuit board manufacturer. My work with lasers started with applications and systems engineering. For the past 15 years, I have been involved in general corporate management, first at Laser Photonics, then Resonetics. During the management portion of my career, I have always remained heavily involved in the technical side of the business, particularly in systems engineering. One of the driving reasons for founding PhotoMachining was to be able to remain a technical as well as a corporate manager. I also enjoy helping the sales effort and customer satisfaction is a top priority. Besides lasers I enjoy playing the Blues, music in general, fishing, boating, hiking and spending time with my family. I live in Andover, MA with my wife Linda, daughter Elizabeth and sons Erik and Christopher. |
