John Regan, Senior Director of IllinoisVENTURES, focuses on software, nanomaterials, energy and device physics. John spent fourteen years in Venture Capital, as a Managing Director of Keystone Venture Partners and as a Principal of Apex Venture Partners. He was responsible for all aspects of venture capital investing as well as management and exit for start-up, early and expansion stage, high growth companies. John has served on numerous high growth company boards including CDnow, Imaging Automation, VST Technologies, Mothers Work (NASDAQ:MWRK) and Arnold Palmer Golf. On behalf of IllinoisVENTURES he currently sits on the boards of SmartSpark, Advanced Diamond Technologies, Dzyme Tech and Semprius. He has BS and MS degrees in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the University of Chicago. |
