John Rhie is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery UK LLP, based in its London office. He is a member of the International Dispute Resolution Group, where his practice focuses on arbitration, general commercial litigation and ADR. John is also a member of the Korea practice group.
John spent six months on secondment in Hong Kong and he has also spent time at leading law offices in New York and South Korea.
John is a member of the Korean Council of International Arbitration and the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group. John is qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate and has obtained a post graduate diploma in International Commercial Arbitration and Investment Treaty disputes from the London University's School of International Arbitration.

Acted for BP in mediation and litigation relating to a multi-million pound insurance dispute against several leading insurers
Acted for Virgin Mobile in proceedings against T-Mobile arising from a declaration of no fault termination of the joint venture
