Mr. John Stulga has nearly 30 years of experience as a materials engineer. He joined RJLG in 1989 as a metallurgical engineer and is involved with the analysis and characterization of a wide variety of materials. He has experience with optical, scanning and transmission electron microscopy. His background is in the area of catalysis, nickel base super alloys and specialty steels. Mr. Stulga has worked on several high profile projects at RJLG, including set-up and operation of a refractory testing facility in conjunction with ALCOA Technical Center and assistance in the collection and analysis of samples from a building damaged by the World Trade Center disaster. In addition, he worked closely with numerous manufacturers and end-users in the identification and source of defects in various specialty steel and aluminum components, including forgings, extrusions and sheets for beverage containers and architectural applications. Mr. Stulga is a member of the American Society of Metals and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers. He as one patent for Nickel Base Powder Metallurgy Alloy, and has published in peer-reviewed literature. |
