As vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific region John Tolton is responsible for all day-to-day operations of iBasis� Asia-Pacific sales team including selling iBasis services to carriers and developing new partnerships for termination within the region. Since 1990 Tolton has held a variety of sales business development and management positions focused on telecommunications in the Asia-Pacific market including serving as iBasis managing director for Asia-Pacific from 1999 to 2001. In returning to iBasis Tolton brings extensive experience in the booming mobile telecommunications business with International Wireless Communications Ltd. Nextel Communications Philippines Inc. and Wireless Way Limited. Tolton holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Toronto and a Graduate Degree in Asia-Pacific Management from Capilano College in Vancouver. |
