Dr. John Tucker serves as the Director of the Emergency Department at Marshall Medical Center in Placerville, California. He was elected to the Marshall Medical Board of Directors in 2006 and reelected in 2007. He has been the Chair of the Emergency Care Committee for the Sierra Sacramento Valley Medical Society for the last 5 years. Dr. Tucker was a member of the SPEMG and EPMG Board of Directors in the 1980s and 1990s. Dr. Tucker previously worked as Director of the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento, California. He was also an Emergency Physician for UCD Medical Center in Sacramento, California. Dr. Tucker is a Fellow in the American College of Emergency Physicians. He has served as a Board Examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine and on the Scientific Advisory Panel on Emergency Medicine for the California Medical Association. Dr. Tucker is residency trained and board certified in Emergency Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Premedical Studies and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his medical degree and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Tucker completed his Flexible Internship at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Denver General Hospital in Denver, Colorado. |
