John Volkman oversees all operations in the State of California and Reno, Nevada. Volkman began his construction career with Cozad Construction, a highway and heavy engineering company, as a superintendent where he managed form setting and concrete placing crews. He later transitioned to the housing industry, received his California contractor�s license and became a partner and general manager of Robert Garcia Construction, a custom and production wood framing company. Prior to joining the SelectBuild team, he was vice president and owner of Sanburn Construction, a residential production framing company building over 1,500 framed homes annually. He also held the position of chairman for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration task force. John holds a construction management certification from University of California, Davis. |
