John J. White, Vice President of Business Development & Advocacy has served Rebuilding Together since 1991. He has managed and implemented programs related to the Rebuilding Together national affiliate network including executing and monitoring strategic plan initiatives, acting as a liaison with the National Affiliate Council, monitoring affiliate performance as well as the future growth of the affiliate network. He currently is responsible for new business and partnership development and is involved in the creation of a national advocacy and public policy program. He is also responsible for overseeing the organizations�s Disaster Recovery and Reconstruction, Safe and Healthy Homes and Veterans Housing practice areas. Prior to joining Rebuilding Together, Mr. White spent 14 years working in the private sector and during that period held a variety of positions involving sales, product development and marketing. In addition, he has partnered in a residential real estate investment and rehabilitation venture and has worked in the past with housing officials, developers and subcontractors. Mr. White currently resides in Gaithersburg, MD, with his wife, daughter & son. He has served as a Rebuilding Together House Captain & Area Coordinator, as well as serving on the National Home Modifications Action Coalition board. Mr. White graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. degree and received a Masters in General Administration from the University of Maryland, Graduate School of Business & Technology. |
