John Wilkerson joined Open Text on August 1 2006 as EVP WW Sales and Services. John comes to us with nearly 30 years of leadership in sales alliances marketing and professional services roles for leading enterprise technology companies. Prior to joining Open Text John was the Executive Vice President Sales Services and Business Development for Bocada a data protection management software company. Prior to that John was the U.S. Vice President of Services for Premier/Alliance and Microsoft Consulting Services (MCS) in the U.S.. Prior to Microsoft John led a team that managed marketing and portfolio management strategy and global alliance relationships as Divisional President of Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Before joining EDS John was President and General Manager of global operations for strategic and vertical markets for the Baan Company in the Netherlands where he managed worldwide sales consulting and support services. John served as Northwestern area manager for Oracle Corp. before moving to Baan. He began his career with IBM serving in multiple management assignments including roles as President and General Manager for North America and Asia Pacific in IBM's Computer Resources International Inc. subsidiary. |
