John is a consultant in the St. Charles office of Brown Smith Wallace. He has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, and has served as CFO/executive vice president for a major construction company in St. Louis. John primarily serves as a CFO as you grow to companies that need a level of financial expertise that is not available from their in-house accounting staff. While he specializes in construction firms, John has served Brown Smith Wallace clients in a variety of industries. His scope of work includes: Facilitating strategic planning sessions Implementing a systematic approach to improving customer service Converting a light manufacturing operation to Lean Manufacturing Guiding companies in implementing the Balanced Scorecard performance measurement system Helping a business optimize its worth in preparation for its sale Assisting with acquisitions John is a graduate of St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants. John currently serves on the Board of US Bank, the Board of Trustees of St. Louis University High School and the Foundation Board for SSM St. Joseph Health Center. He has served as Chairman of the Board of the Crider Center for Mental Health, the Salvation Army of St. Charles, the SSM St. Joseph Health Center Foundation, and St. Louis University High School.
