Johnie L. Wise is SWEPCO�s director, regulatory services. He is responsible for management relationships and issues with the company's Arkansas and Louisiana public service commissions and coordinated oversight of SWEPCO Texas issues.
Wise began his career with SWEPCO in 1973 as an industrial marketing engineer. He has served as marketing manager; director of division operations, and division manager.
The Shreveport native is currently a board member of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Shreveport. He has served as president of the Shreveport Manufacturing Managers Council, Downtown Shreveport Unlimited and United Way of Northwest Louisiana. He has served as a board member of Boy Scouts of America Norwela Council.
Wise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University. He has completed the University of Michigan Public Utility Executive Program and the Baylor University Public Utility Management Program, and is a registered professional engineer.
Wise lives in Shreveport with his wife, Patti. They have two grown children. |
