Jon E. Eliassen (age 59) has been a director of Itron since 1987. Mr. Eliassen�s term as a director expires in 2008. Mr. Eliassen is managing director of Terrapin Capital Group LLP (Terrapin). Prior to forming Terrapin he was president and chief executive officer of the Spokane Area Economic Development Council and held numerous positions within Avista Corporation an energy company involved in the production transmission and distribution of energy before retiring in April 2003 as senior vice president and chief financial officer a position he held since 1986. He is a member of the board of directors of Red Lion Hotels Corporation a NYSE traded company; the Washington Technology Center; IT Lifeline a privately held technology company; The Washington State University Research Foundation; and NVA Holdings LLC.
