Dr. Heyl began his career in 1981 as a field service engineer with an automation and robotics company. Over the course of 14 years, he worked his way to the top of the corporation, and eventually owned the company. In 1995, he sold the company to a larger corporation and went on to run a German based robotics company's North/South American and Asian divisions through 1999. In 2000, Dr. Heyl accepted a position to take over and build the Asian sales and marketing network of a semiconductor equipment manufacturer, and in 2002 he accepted a position in Orlando, FL to start-up a systems group for a laser company. In 2003, Dr. Heyl formed Controlled Semiconductor, Inc. and in 2004 began full operations of the company. Dr. Heyl holds a BSEE, MBA and Doctorate along with holding a Commercial Jet license and a black belt in TaeKwonDo and a red belt in TungSooDo. Dr. Heyl is a member of SPIE, The Society of Electrical Engineers, and The Society of Plastics Engineers, and was recently asked to be on the Advisory Board of DeVry University. |
