Jon Evans is currently vice president of corporate business development for SpaceDev, and also serves as business lead for the deployable structures group.
Prior to his employment at SpaceDev and Starsys, Mr. Evans was director of business development at Alliant Techsystems, Aerospace Composites Structures Company. He was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic marketing plan for the company, and obtained more than $160 million in new business in fiscal year 2000, substantially expanding the company�s international business. Mr. Evans also served in a variety of management and engineering positions for the company.
Mr. Evans obtained a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, and holds an MBA from Westminster College. |
