Jon has over fifteen years of experience in the selling and marketing of sophisticated software solutions, with the last six years at an executive level. Most recently, Jon was at Acteva, an ASP providing online registration and payment solutions for event organizers, where he was responsible for all product marketing and corporate communication activities. Prior to working for Acteva, Jon was founder and vice president of marketing at iSharp, an early ASP focused on identifying, characterizing, and resolving performance problems in online applications. Jon successfully launched the company's initial service offering, a hosted performance testing service. During this period, he also conceived of and launched the MSP (Management Service Providers) Association (now part of the ASP Association), a 50-member industry association focused on hosted management services.Jon also worked as director of product marketing at Intellicorp, a software solution provider for enterprises using SAP/R3. Prior to this he spent six years at Pure Software (acquired by Rational Software in 1996, which in turn was acquired by IBM in 2003) in various sales and marketing roles.Jon attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH where he studied computer engineering. |
