Jon Thompson became Opportunity Partners' Chief Executive Officer/President in November of 1998, after seven years as the Chief Executive Officer of Hammer Residences in Wayzata. Jon has extensive experience in health care management, including nursing homes, retirement projects, supports for persons with developmental disabilities and mental health. Among his degrees and certifications are four from the University of St. Thomas: an MBA, a master's degree in special education, bachelor's degree in art, and bachelor's degree in accounting. He is a licensed and Certified Public Accountant and certified administrator. As CEO/President, Jon directs an executive team of seven dedicated professionals and an annual organizational budget of $20 million. Jon is the former president of the Wayzata Rotary Club and an active member of the Association of Residential Resources in Minnesota and the Minnesota Association of Community Rehabilitation Organizations. Jon also serves on the Program Committee of the Minneapolis Club. |
