Jonathan Dyar is an experienced trial lawyer, having come to MR from the Office of the Commonwealth Attorney, where he participated in approximately twenty-five Circuit Court jury trials. Those trials ranged from thefts to capital murder cases. He also has experience in front of Kentucky�s appellate courts, having successfully argued Hearn v. Commonwealth in front of the Kentucky Supreme Court which established that crime victims are entitled to interest payments on restitution. Before attending law school, Jonathan served his country as an officer in the United States Navy, serving aboard the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE, where he was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal. |
