Dr. Leviss leverages his 15+ years experience using advanced technologies, including CPOE and EMR systems, to provide medical informatics and healthcare expertise for Sentillion and its customers. He has led multiple healthcare technology initiatives across inpatient, ambulatory, and community settings and served as the first Chief Medical Informatics Officer at the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation as well as a physician executive for Cerner Corporation and Deloitte Consulting. In addition to his professional experience, Dr. Leviss maintained faculty positions at the medical schools of NYU and Columbia University and remains a frequent author and presenter on the subject of medical informatics. Currently practicing internal medicine at the Thundermist Health Center in Rhode Island, Dr. Leviss serves as a member of the Rhode Island Clinical Technology Leadership Committee for which he develops strategies for physician adoption of technology across the state. Dr. Leviss is a graduate of the New York University School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor�s degree in international relations from Tufts University. |
