Jon joins Johnson Capital with more than 10 years experience in real estate finance and investment banking. Prior to joining Johnson Capital, Jon was a senior originator with Bridger Commercial Funding, a national conduit lender, where he was responsible for the origination of commercial real estate loans throughout the eastern United States. At Bridger, Jon originated more than $350 million in CMBS and mezzanine loans ranging in size from $1 million to $40 million. Jon�s knowledge spans all property types including: multifamily, retail, industrial, office, self storage and hospitality. Additionally, Jon is experienced in highly structured financings such as earnouts, holdbacks, extended forward rate locks, staged fundings and other credit enhancements. Previously, Jon was an investment banker with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Company, Inc. where he specialized in public and private offerings of equity and debt as well as mergers and acquisitions for banks, thrifts, specialty finance companies and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT). In this capacity, Jon contributed to the consummation of more than $1.8 billion of capital markets transactions. Jon earned a B.A. from Tulane University and an M.S. in real estate with a concentration in institutional real estate portfolio management from Johns Hopkins University. |
