Dr. Britell joined Southlake Clinic in 1985. He obtained his medical degree at Albany Medical College. He received his training in internal medicine at Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center and the University of Oregon. After doing a Hematology Fellowship at the University of Oregon, Dr. Britell received his Medical Oncology training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Prior to moving to Renton, he was on the staff of the Mayo Clinic and practiced in Littleton, CO for 5 years.
During the time he has practiced at Valley Medical Center, he has served as Co-Chairman of the Cancer Committee since 1986. Since 1993 his has served on the Board of Directors of the Washington State Medical Oncology Society. He has served as President of the Washington State Medical Oncology Society and as a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology's Clinical Practice Committee since 2004.
Dr. Britell cares for adults with all forms of cancer and blood disorders. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. He is married and has two grown children. |
