Dr. Dayao has over 18 years of experience in managing, consulting, mentoring, and research in the areas of information technology and computer science. His technical expertise is in the areas of object-oriented software analysis and design, software process improvement, and project management. He has led several companies in streamlining their processes and managing their technologies. He currently holds a Vice Presidency post, in charge of software development projects of the Business Services Group and acting as Chief Information Officer of SVI Connect. He previously worked as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of RCG Information Technology Philippines, also an IT professional services company. From 1997 to 1999, he served as Dean of the College of Computer Studies of the De La Salle University. He obtained his BS in Mathematics from the University of Santo Tomas, his MS in Computer Science from the De La Salle University and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Brighton in Brighton, England. |
