Jonathan J. Boyles is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's New York office. He is a member of the Employee Benefits Department.
Prior to joining McDermott, Jonathan was a senior associate at a labor and employee benefits boutique law firm in New York and was previously the chief in-house counsel to a multi-billion dollar national multiemployer pension plan. He has advised clients on a wide array of employee benefit issues, including ERISA�s fiduciary obligations, plan design issues, and reporting and disclosure requirements. He has also litigated cases in multiple jurisdictions as primary counsel.
While in law school, Jonathan was Managing Editor of The Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law�s First Annual Review of Gender and Sexuality Law.
Jonathan is licensed to practice in the State of New York and the District of Columbia. He is admitted to practice in federal courts before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Sixth Circuits and the United States Districts Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
