Jonathan M. Rogoff serves as vice president, counsel and secretary for Nuclear Management Company (NMC). He joined NMC in September 2000.
Previously, Rogoff spent 16 years with Alliant Energy, most recently as senior regulatory attorney and manager Iowa restructuring. In the last two years, he was involved in Iowa restructuring issues and was one of the chief authors of legislation that, had it been adopted, would have brought a competitive electric market to Iowa.
He represented Alliant Energy in rate matters before state commissions and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and had been involved in nuclear siting proceedings, nuclear prudence reviews, decommissioning and several mergers.
Before joining Alliant Energy, Rogoff worked as an attorney for the New York Public Service Commission and for the New York Consumer Protection Board. He also served as an economist with the North Carolina Energy Division.
Rogoff earned his bachelor of arts degree in economics from George Washington University, his master of arts degree in economics from Columbia University, and his juris doctor degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
