Jonathan Covin joined Carrington Coleman in November 2001. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Covin worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs in New York, where he marketed equity derivative products to Goldman's corporate clients. Mr. Covin also served as chief financial officer of a high-technology startup in Cambridge, MA. Mr. Covin's practice focuses on bankruptcy and litigation matters. He has represented parties in a variety of bankruptcy matters, including contested plan confirmation hearings, preference and fraudulent transfer actions, non-dischargeability actions, claims objections, and other forms of bankruptcy-related litigation. Mr. Covin has also worked on a broad array of complex commercial litigation matters, including director and officer liability and professional malpractice cases. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, Mr. Covin was named by Texas Monthly magazine as a "Rising Star" in Texas law. |
