Jonathan Goldick is the Chief Technology Officer at ONStor, setting the company's technical direction in software and hardware design. A recognized expert in Global File Systems, Windows file system design, and the CIFS protocol, Mr. Goldick brings 16 years of enterprise computing experience. Prior to ONStor, he held leadership roles at Zambeel, Microsoft, IBM Transarc Labs, and the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center at Carnegie-Mellon University. At Zambeel he served as Architect, designing the key components of the company's Global File System. At Microsoft, Mr. Goldick served as a key technical contributor for CIFS protocol design futures, the backup/restore framework (VSS), NTFS performance and feature enhancements, and WebDAV futures. Prior to that he served as Chief NT architect for the file systems group at IBM Transarc where he designed multi-protocol algorithms to bridge the Windows and UNIX worlds. Mr. Goldick is the author of four IEEE and USENIX publications related to mass storage and Global File Systems, and holds three patents in the field. He holds a bachelors degree in Physics and a masters degree in Electrical Engineering, both from Carnegie-Mellon University. |
