Jonathan Hauer focuses his practice in the area of defending both public and private employers against wrongful termination, discrimination and harassment claims. He advises clients regarding personnel policies, including implementing anti-harassment and anti-discrimination policies, drug-testing policies, employee evaluation procedures and computer and online resource policies. He also defends employers at the administrative stages, as well as in federal and state court. Jonathan assists employers in proactively preventing problems by preparing severance agreements and providing day-to-day counseling for human resource issues.
Prior to joining Ford & Harrison he was an associate at a Phoenix law firm. Earlier in his career, he participated in the University of Arizona Domestic Violence Clinic and was assistant director of the University of Arizona Courtroom of the Future program.
Jonathan is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of the Arizona State Bar and the American Bar Association.
During law school, he was a member of the Arizona Law Review (2004-2005).
