Mr. Perl is a Partner with Boulder Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early and growth stage equity investments in information technology and life sciences companies. He has more than 17 years industry experience including 8 years of venture capital experience and 5 years in consulting and banking. Since joining Boulder Ventures in July 2002, he led BVIV investments in iLumin Software Services (sold to Computer Associates), Rannoch Corporation and Millennium Pharmacy Systems. Prior to joining Boulder Ventures, Mr. Perl was a Partner with Intersouth Partners, having joined that firm in 1997 as a Kauffman Fellow. In 1999, he became a Partner and was responsible for the sourcing, due diligence, structuring and negotiation of more than a dozen early stage investments, including several highly successful companies. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Perl was the Director of Washington Operations for IICC, a placement agent, where he was responsible for a variety of consulting arrangements with both investment management firms and venture backed companies. Prior to joining IICC, Mr. Perl was in the management development program at American Security Bank (now BofA). Mr. Perl holds an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College (1997). He has a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University (1988, magna cum laude). |
